एक बार की बात है कि एक बहुत बड़ा उद्धयोगपति व्यापार करने के लिए विदेशों में जाता था| उसके पास एक बहुत बड़ा पानी का जहाज़ था जिसमें वह अपना माल लादकर विदेश ले जाया करता था|

          

एक बार किसी देश की यात्रा के दौरान ही उसका जहाज़ का इंज़न खराब हो गया| जहाज़ में कई मैकेनिक थे, वे सभी इंज़न की मररमत में लग गये| बहुत समय बीत गया लेकिन जहाज़ स्टार्ट नहीं हुआ| अब सारे मैकेनिक थक कर हार मान चुके थे| तभी वहाँ से एक बूढ़ा व्यक्ति गुज़रा जो पहले कभी जवानी में जहाज़ों की रिपेयरिंग किया करता था|

व्यापारी ने उससे जहाज़ को ठीक करने की विनती की | बूढ़े व्यक्ति ने अपने कंधे पे एक बड़ा सा झोला लटकाया हुआ था जिसमें उसके औजार थे| अब उसने झोले से एक हथौड़ा निकाला और जहाज़ के पास आया|

वह घंटों इंज़न को उपर नीचे देखता और जाँचता रहा लेकिन किया कुछ नहीं| सारे लोग उसे मूर्ख समझने लगे कि कितनी देर हो गयी और ये मूर्ख बस इंज़न को देखे जा रहा है|

बहुत देर बाद बूढ़े को कुछ समझ में आया और उसने इंज़न के एक पुर्ज़े पर हल्के से हथौड़ा मारा और इंज़न स्टार्ट हो गया| सारे लोग खुशी खुशी वहाँ से चल दिए|

एक सप्ताह बाद व्यापारी को 10,000 रुपये का बूढ़े व्यक्ति की तरफ से एक बिल मिला| व्यापारी बिल देखकर बहुत गुस्सा हुआ और बोला बूढ़े ने ज़्यादा कुछ किया भी नहीं था और इतना बड़ा बिल बना के भेज दिया|

व्यापारी ने बूढ़े को संदेश भेजा कि मुझे काम के अनुसार ये बिल समझाओ|

बूढ़े व्यक्ति ने बिल भेजा जिसमें लिखा था:-

इंज़न पे चोट मारने के – 2 रु

तो मित्रों यही बात हमारे जीवन पर भी लागू होती है, कोई काम करना तभी सफल है जब वह सही ढंग से सही जगह किया जाए| हममें से बहुत सारे लोग रोज बिना कुछ सोचे समझे बस भाग दौड़ भरी जिंदगी में लगे रहते हैं| लेकिन सही अवसर ,सही समय या सही दिशा नहीं पहचान पाते हैं| कार्य तो कोई भी कर सकता है लेकिन सही ढंग से किया हुआ कार्य ही सफल होता है|

Once upon a time, a very big industrialist used to go abroad to do business.  He had a big water ship in which he used to take his goods and take them abroad.

Once during a trip to a country, his ship's engine deteriorated.  There were many mechanics in the ship, they all got involved in repairing the engine.  A lot of time passed but the ship did not start.  Now all the mechanics had tired and given up.  Then an old man passed by from there who used to do repairing of ships in his youth.

 The merchant begged him to fix the ship.  The old man had a big bag hanging on his shoulder with his tools.  Now he took out a hammer from the bag and came to the ship.

He kept looking at the engine up and down for hours but did nothing.  All the people started thinking of him as foolish how late and this fool is just watching the engine.

 After a while, the old man understood something and lightly hammered one of the parts of the engine and the engine started.  Everyone happily left from there.

A week later, the merchant received a bill from the old man of 10,000 rupees.  Seeing the merchant bill, he got very angry and said that the old man had not done much and sent such a huge bill.

 The merchant sent a message to the old man that he should explain the bill according to his work.

 So friends, the same thing applies to our lives, any work is successful only if it is done correctly in the right place.  Many of us are engaged in a rushed life every day without thinking anything.  But we do not recognize the right opportunity, right time or right direction.  Anyone can do the work, but only the work done correctly is successful.
